Requirements

BS degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted for degree)
Experience working as a Scrum Master or Team Lead for a software development or similar technical team
Experience using agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, VersionOne)
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and time management
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

Responsibilities

Facilitating self-organizing teams to ensure each team is making progress against sprint commitments
Protecting teams from scope creep during execution of the sprint
Removing impediments for the team
Helping team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate
Supporting and enforcing Scrum process and other rules
Ensuring that the team has a clear understanding of Definition of Done and how to meet it
Coordinating with other teams on the contract and communicating status to Management
Working with the Product Owner(s) to review and prioritize features
Leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies to include sprint planning, sprint review, demos, and sprint retrospective
Working with teams to develop user stories to meet the Feature acceptance criteria and requirements
Working with the team to help gather and refine requirements
Maintaining and generating information radiators for the teams
Collecting and sharing team metrics with the team, determining when new metrics are needed, and developing improvements in metrics
Working with the team to develop and adhere to best agile practices
Working with the team to develop collaborative tools and dashboards to help monitor metrics
Supporting the team during UAT and Integration testing as needed prior to deployments
Working with the team in planning and ensuring the release process is properly planned and executed
Coaching teams on agile and scrum principles with a goal of continuous improvement
Creating a fun sharing and learning environment, experimenting with various ideas to improve delivery including pair-programming and cross-functional training
