Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other business software
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Preferred: Manufacturing background
  • Preferred: Experience with mixed packaging materials, corrugated, foam
  • Preferred: Experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, develop, maintain and train an excellent project team
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of the project/program, including R.F.P., order confirmations, sales orders, detailing, purchasing, production, delivery, and installation
  • Develop and manage critical project/program timelines; obtain customer approval and monitor through completion
  • Review and approve all design/detail drawings and art files prior to release to the customer
  • Actively manage customer inventories and re-orders
  • Monitor production through physical review of work in process and review of labor and cost report data; aid in corrective actions
  • Assist in managing finished goods inventory related to assigned customer
  • Support estimating and costing of programs, including participation in cost-reduction programs
  • Pursue revenue and gross margin growth in partnership with Sales and Operations
  • Work collaboratively with other sales teams to align manufacturing in-house or through established trade partners
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of customer programs while achieving operational and financial targets
  • Collaborate with strategic and regional teams to capture new business opportunities with mixed packaging materials
