Requirements

  • Typically 8–10 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree
  • Hands-on experience in HR Technology (HRT) or HRIS
  • Familiar with SDLC, requirement gathering, UAT, and deployments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiar with waterfall methodology and agile experience
  • Experience working with global stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Leads moderate to high complexity global HRIS projects and programs with multiple work streams
  • Partners with multiple HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and other Business Units (BUs) to understand and scope out business problems and requirements, and works with HR Technology resources to design, configure, and roll out HRIS solutions
  • Establishes project goals, milestones, and procedures; defines roles and responsibilities; acquires project resources; coordinates projects throughout the company and across regions
  • Leads project calls, assigns work, and manages projects to timeline and outcomes
  • As needed, optimizes processes end-to-end and leads process redesign by mapping current processes, designing future state, developing and executing implementation and change management plans
  • As needed, collects, validates, and maintains business requirements
  • Provides regular updates to leadership, facilitates issue resolutions, conducts regular project calls, delivers communication and training as necessary
  • Monitors projects through all phases to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and within scope
  • Develops, maintains, and shares required project management artifacts (e.g., project plans, team charters); keeps records up to date in Project Management and Project Time Tracking systems
  • Controls and evaluates changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate change control protocols to ensure approvals
  • Guides project oversight by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; provides trends and forecasts; explains processes and techniques
  • Drives compliance to the project management governance framework
  • Proactively identifies new trends and technologies for possible implementation and makes recommendations on replacing or improving existing ineffective systems or processes
  • Reports and analyzes performance data, identifies project issues and problems, and training gaps among HRT and stakeholder resources
  • As needed, collaborates with 3rd party vendors on project execution; participates in finalizing SOWs; supports vendor invoice reconciliation
  • Implements process improvements from Lessons Learned on completed projects to new projects
