Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited vocational or academic institution in the fields of Project Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
  • 3 years of project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects, including project schedule, finances, customer and vendor relations, accuracy of drawings and submittal documents, equipment procurement, and maintaining engineering/project team communications and relationships
  • Collaborate and coordinate efforts with team members, vendors, and clients to meet project schedules and profitability expectations
  • Effectively manage projects, scopes, and schedules to ensure successful completion to customers’ expectations
  • Work with Proposal Managers, Engineers, Designers, Procurement & Billing team, Shipping & Receiving team, and Factory Built Substation/Pre-fabricated bus team to maximize quality, efficiency, and safety for on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Support DTPS’s vision, business objectives, goals, strategies, and measures by communicating and obtaining buy-in from EVP and Project Team members
  • Work with Project Team, EVP of Projects, and leadership to optimize project management processes and systems, encourage continuous improvement, and communicate results
  • Strive for excellence in all tasks and goals, maintain focus and perseverance, use time efficiently, and respond quickly to opportunities and challenges
  • Work with Project Management Team and leadership to build, implement, communicate quality standards, monitor them, and recommend additional practices, standards, and corrective measures
  • Develop long-term customer and vendor relationships, alliances, and partnerships with leadership and team members
  • Maintain and expand expertise in the High Voltage Electrical Substation industry, remain adaptable and agile, provide leadership and coaching to team members for growth, development, and knowledge transfer
