Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
  • Legal authorization to work in the US (no sponsorship)
  • Typically requires a minimum 8+ Years experience managing projects in an Engineering-focused Product Development environment (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Project Management certificate or PMP certification (preferred)
  • Experience with and/or certification in one or more agile methodologies, e.g. certified scrum master (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills (preferred)
  • Experience planning projects with Project applications (i.e. Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.) (preferred)
  • Experience with Atlassian suite of applications: Jira, Jira Align and Confluence (preferred)
  • Experience with standardized Product Development processes including use of stage gating (preferred)
  • Demonstrated project experience with mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineering disciplines (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of the software, firmware, mechanical, electrical and hardware engineering disciplines needed for planning and risk mitigation discussions within projects

Responsibilities

  • Manage project planning and execution activities, coordinate resources, and manage finances for product development projects
  • Lead teams comprised of cross-functional resources for the development and implementation of new product design which include manufacturing, sourcing, and quality
  • Support the Agile framework that each of your projects operates under
  • Monitor the project timeline, key milestones, and budget
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and issues to various stakeholder groups
  • Report to business management and senior management on progress while ensuring the project commitments are achieved
