Responsibilities

Planning, scheduling, cost forecasting, monitoring, documentation, control and reporting on all aspects of assigned projects
Coordinating internal and external development and test resources and working with resource managers and other project managers to ensure staffing, project alignment and integration
Owning project priorities and delivery of project expectations, identifying issues and mitigating risk among the project team
Leading within a technical team environment, managing a geographically dispersed engineering and project delivery organization using collaboration tools and remote management skills
Working on a team of engineers, technical leaders, analysts to enable new features for internal customers while keeping applications secure and stable; attacking roadblocks and impediments to delivering incremental value
Ensuring with the Technical Leader the design, implementation, test, and startup phases of complex systems projects; ensuring creation and approval of Engineering Design and Functional Specification; facilitating use of templates, procedures, and standards
Representing Rockwell Automation as an authority and being responsible for on-site implementation and startup (site or remote lead); supporting an environment conducive to customer satisfaction
Following established procedures in analyzing situations or data and ensuring the project team has knowledge to lead engineering standardization efforts for system software and hardware solutions
Responsible for application engineering efforts of projects typically with a combined value total $6 million; leading budget, quality, resource, forecast, margin, and customer satisfaction targets
Presenting main technical, contract, scope and schedule aspects of sales proposals to customers
Following all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures
Motivating teams with patience, empathy, emotional self-regulation, and social skills
