Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a machinist or machine operator with minimal supervision required
Knowledge of setting up and running production machining equipment
Capable of reading and interpreting drawings
Understanding and skilled in the use of precision measuring equipment and gauges to inspect machined parts
Skills and knowledge in operating manual and CNC machining equipment
Able to work 1st shift as assigned
Exhibit skills and willingness to perform assigned tasks in a fully competent manner
Good communication skills both verbal and written

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machines and tools to perform any operation within machine capacity with special fixtures or holding devices if required
Comply with all TurboFab’s Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, Regulations and Guidelines
Keep all areas clean and orderly and comply with TurboFab’s housekeeping procedures
Maintain a safe working environment
Meet production requirements with components requiring tolerance and meeting quality standards
Apply continuous improvement techniques
Ensure equipment is functioning properly
Keep and maintain records and documents as required
Train less experienced machinists as required
