Requirements

  • Experience in leading full phases of construction projects, including budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout
  • Ability to lead internal and external project teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Skills in reporting and achieving project financial goals
  • Capability to own client relationships and manage assigned national accounts
  • Participation in staffing decisions with Office Leadership
  • Proficiency in RFP responses, developing presentations, and leading pitches
  • Experience in business development, client relationship management, organizing events, and fostering relationships with designers and clients
  • Expertise in cost control, change management, forecasting, billing, receivables, budget communication, and reporting secured revenue, pipeline, and backlog
  • Ability to develop, coach, and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Involvement in bringing in new project leads, bid opportunities, and networking with clients, designers, and building managers
  • Contribution to company growth through interviews, mentoring programs, and reinforcing company culture
  • Skills in developing training content and leading classes on industry best practices, technical skills, and human skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, coordination, and completion of construction projects across all phases
  • Actively participate in RFP responses, including developing presentations and leading pitches
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management, including organizing events and assisting with budgets or existing condition reviews
  • Develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers through guidance, coaching, mentoring, and leading by example
  • Oversee cost control and change management, ensuring accurate tracking, monthly forecasting, timely billing/resolution, contractual budget changes, and accurate reporting of revenue/pipeline/backlog
  • Generate new project leads and bid opportunities through client contacts and networking
  • Contribute to company growth via intern/candidate interviews, Mentoring Program participation, and culture reinforcement
  • Develop training content and lead classes on relevant topics
  • Participate in staffing decisions with Office Leadership
  • Ensure overall success of the Project Team, mentor members, foster growth, address performance/disciplinary issues with Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, and propose title/pay changes
