Responsibilities

  • Applies project management skills across all phases: development, justification, design, construction, and startup
  • Supports project documentation, data gathering, and coordination tasks under supervision
  • Assists with cost estimates, schedules, and DSP preparation
  • Participates in Management of Change (MOC), Process Safety Information (PSI), and mechanical integrity documentation reviews and learns requirements
  • Coordinates with external engineering consultants and designers to complete projects and studies cost-effectively
  • Develops scope, cost estimates, and schedules for capital and expense projects; prepares Decision Support Packages (DSPs) and presents to leadership
  • Collaborates with stakeholders including Maintenance, Construction, and Turnaround teams to support planning and execution
  • Observes HAZOP reviews and incident investigations
  • Learns engineering codes and specifications; ensures designs meet safety, environmental, and permitting standards
  • Promotes safety awareness and takes corrective action when unsafe practices or conditions are observed
