Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Allied Health, Engineering, or Communications
  • Foundational understanding of project management phases (initiation through closeout)
  • Experience working in or supporting cross-functional (matrix) project teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with Microsoft Project preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Prior experience in a biomedical or research environment

Responsibilities

  • Support project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure in collaboration with senior project managers
  • Assist in developing project documentation, including timelines, budgets, scope statements, and risk registers
  • Track project progress against milestones and budgets, and help prepare status reports and presentations for governance meetings
  • Coordinate project information management, including data entry, reporting, and archiving in project tracking systems
  • Support collaboration with internal and external partners on agreements, deliverables, and integration of services
  • Contribute to financial tracking by reconciling invoices and monitoring project expenditures where applicable
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects to enhance team efficiency
