Project Coordinator - Labelbox

Position Overview

Labelbox is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to partner with our Project Managers to oversee data labeling and generation projects. This role serves as the primary point of contact for labelers, providing support and advocacy throughout their project lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses project management experience and the ability to work independently to drive projects to successful completion, ensuring the highest quality data for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage Data Projects: Partner with a Project Manager to oversee data labeling and generation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
• Delegate Tasks: Effectively assign responsibilities to team members for optimal resource utilization.
• Community Management within Projects: Respond thoughtfully and promptly to team member questions regarding their projects.
• Monitor Progress: Track project milestones and deliverables, adjusting plans as needed to meet objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data outputs.
• Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, challenges, and achievements.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in project management, preferably in data labeling.
• Independence: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Bonus Points

• Experience in data annotation or working with machine learning datasets.
