Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED with equivalent experience, or a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or business. Required experience ranges from two years for the Analyst II role to six years for the Sr. Analyst role, in project controls, engineering, or related fields. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project life cycle knowledge, and expertise with project-related software like Primavera or Oracle Projects are essential. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE certifications.
The Project Controls Analyst will support projects from initiation to closeout, working closely with Project Managers to establish estimates, budgets, cost risk assessments, expenditure forecasts, accruals, and schedules. They will manage project change requests, prepare monthly progress and variance analysis reports, and conduct ad-hoc reporting. Responsibilities also include collaborating with various departments, performing analyses to understand project status, communicating project reports to stakeholders, and potentially providing leadership updates. The role may involve mentoring and training others.
