Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in the game industry or related fields, ideally with exposure to a marketed title
  • Strong proficiency in C++ (C++14 or C++17 is a plus); familiarity with C# is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of Unreal Engine 4/5; experience with Blueprints is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of multithreading, design patterns, and performance optimization
  • Familiarity with tools and techniques for profiling and analyzing engine performance
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the construction and improvement of engine systems in C++ (e.g., tools, animation, physics, 3D effects), focusing on scalability and performance
  • Collaborate with the engine team to solve complex problems within the technology stack, emphasizing performance aspects like CPU, GPU, memory, and loading times
  • Participate in the maintenance of technical documentation to ensure systems are well-documented and accessible
  • Utilize profiling and data collection tools to analyze performance and formulate optimization recommendations
  • Stay informed about new developments in game technology and engine advancements, applying relevant improvements to the project
