Programmatic Manager (Freelance)

Employment Type: Freelance (1099)

Estimated Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 30+ hours. Engagement Duration: Expected through September, with potential extension through year-end.


Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Programmatic Manager to spearhead the strategy and execution of programmatic advertising campaigns. This role demands a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, a data-centric methodology, and a commitment to optimizing campaign performance. The ideal candidate will implement programmatic best practices, foster collaboration across teams, and deliver outstanding results.


Requirements

  • Hands-on keyboard experience managing programmatic campaigns across major Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), including:
    • The Trade Desk (TTD)
    • DV360
    • Amazon DSP
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in measurement and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Passion for programmatic advertising.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute programmatic strategies, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement programmatic best practices, including campaign setup, targeting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Stay current with the latest programmatic trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of programmatic technology partners, such as DSPs (The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP), Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), and data providers.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement a measurement framework for accurate performance assessment and Return on Investment (ROI) demonstration of programmatic campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with media planning, creative, and analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of programmatic efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key programmatic partners, including publishers, data providers, and technology vendors.
  • Identify and evaluate new programmatic opportunities and technologies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic recommendations and performance reports.
  • Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in programmatic campaign performance through rigorous testing and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programmatic issues.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Anticipated Hourly Rate: $33.00/hr - $45.00/hr.
    • This rate is determined by various factors including skill set, experience depth, education, certifications, market benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and state salary thresholds.
    • Pay ranges are subject to change based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys.
  • Location: This role may be performed remotely in most U.S. states, with some exclusions.
  • Immigration Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
  • Employment Status: Contract, 1099 freelance role.
