Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of assigned strategic transmission and substation projects from early-stage development to hand off to Project Management Organization (prior to traditional project lifecycle)
Coordinate cross-functional teams including System Planning, Engineering, Siting, Real Estate, Legal, Engagement, Regulatory Affairs, and more
Ensure that all strategic solutions are vetted in a manner consistent with the Company’s safety and procurement policies and programs
Work with the appropriate departments to develop schedules and budget of strategic projects in early-stage development and be responsible for the implementation, prior to execution
Support development and documentation of Company Policies related to development and execution of strategic transmission projects addressing items such as feasibility, planning, siting, permitting, construction, etc
Focus on both internal and external collaboration
Maintain familiarity with current and upcoming Policies and Programs that could facilitate Transmission Development
Work with the Manager/Director to develop metrics by which to evaluate the success of transmission projects and collaborate with other Program Managers and Senior Program Managers within Strategic Project Development team when needed
Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to assure alignment and key information exchange to advance Strategic Transmission Projects
Assist with representing Eversource Transmission on committees, groups, associations, or other efforts consistent with Strategic Projects
Assist with representing Eversource Transmission at public meetings, regulatory hearings, town hall meetings and any special meetings that may occur
Ensure Manager and Director of Strategic Project Development are briefed regularly on the status of job responsibilities for the development of strategic projects and status of action items
