Requirements

Candidates must be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Virginia, DC, and MD, or willing to obtain licensure in these states. They should possess at least one year of experience in civil design/engineering, transportation planning/engineering, geotechnical engineering, or civil construction/materials testing, or a related design discipline associated with land development or real estate development projects. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and sponsorships will not be offered.

Responsibilities

The Professional Engineer (Civil) will act as PE for the organization's business licensing purposes, review civil plans and testing reports, seal and certify stormwater facility installation as-builts and maintenance reports, seal/certify performance bond reduction applications, seal/certify other civil related documents as needed, study and test for civil contractor licenses in multiple mid-Atlantic states, attend pre-bid meetings, and submit bids in person on behalf of the company.
