Requirements

  • High school diploma with 8+ years’ experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead production teams by defining measurable goals, implementing performance standards, and utilizing structured feedback systems to drive accountability and operational excellence
  • Proven experience applying lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Gemba)
  • Knowledge of FDA, QSR, ISO, or GMP compliance requirements
  • Proven track record of building sustainable processes that deliver on production plans while setting and achieving challenging organizational goals
  • Competence in data analysis for process improvement and KPI tracking
  • Ability to travel by air up to 50% to Miami, FL facility for ongoing training and support during the first year of employment (requirements and timelines subject to change)

Responsibilities

  • Manage direct reports' work requirements and performance; provide timely feedback and guide them on performance/career and professional development
  • Use standard work, daily management, and lean manufacturing principles to drive results in KPIs of safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Drive action and solve problems; work with the team to build sustainable processes that deliver on KPIs and ongoing achievement of production plans
  • Foster continuous improvement by using DBS tools, kaizen, and Gemba evidence to generate ideas with the team for improvement to better meet customer needs and improve results
  • Set and deliver on challenging and aspirational goals for self within the scope of available resources to support growth targets
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive business results, DBS culture, and execute on strategic plans to achieve short, intermediate, and long-term business objectives
