Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or Logistics Management with 5+ years of specific experience
Associate’s degree in general management with 10+ years of related experience (Associate’s degree may be substituted with equivalent years of Operating Experience)
Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States
Understanding of MRP
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office software
High level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft (tools/software)
APICS CPIM certification desired

Responsibilities

Lead effective and efficient site materials management including Materials Planning, Scheduling, and transactional components of Logistics Operations
Maintain production schedules to optimize inventory levels that meet customer requirements and minimize inventory carrying costs, in accordance with IBP Demand/Supply Planning processes
Maintain SAP information to optimize schedule and planning
Work closely with plant, corporate personnel, operations management, and distribution network to ensure adherence to plan, coordinate changes, deliver optimum service, and minimize costs
Lead all aspects of materials planning with minimal supervision and high-level decision-making
Requisition raw materials according to the plan and interact with Purchasing
Control raw material and intermediate inventories at optimum levels
Support Product Managers and Production teams in efforts to reduce slow moving and off-standard inventories
Participate in IBP processes
Manage blocked inventory for rework or write-off
Maintain master data in SAP
Coordinate with Schedulers to prepare production schedules meeting inventory levels that maximize customer service, balance demand with production capabilities, monitor adherence and manage change, and maintain SAP accuracy
Coordinate with plant Logistics organization (supported by site Operations Supervisor) to maintain finished goods and raw material inventories properly stored, transferred, and maintained per regulatory, EH&S, and departmental requirements; ensure SAP transaction accuracy; maintain accurate inventory data with Production; and assure timely/efficient shipping to distribution centers and customers
Champion continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes, including managing special projects
Follow instructions and perform other duties as assigned by Regional Supply Chain Manager
Knowledge of McIntosh processes, products, and businesses; assist other employees in accomplishing company goals
Participate in and complete company-required training programs
Participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives
