Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Tafe Education
  • Able to lift up to 20kg (or 40 lbs.) without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Compliance with Cleanroom requirements (no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc.)
  • Willingness to wear PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
  • Ability to stand for full shift
  • Ability to work with hazardous/toxic materials
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing (desirable)
  • Good mechanical proficiency (desirable)
  • Experience in working to a production schedule and managing time effectively
  • Self-directive and proactive

Responsibilities

  • Complete day-to-day production activities in conformance with specifications, standard operating procedures, and GMP and ISO principles
  • Participate in daily stand up meeting and raise issues as appropriate
  • Perform in-process sampling and monitoring to assure batches meet specification
  • Complete production documentation – batch sheets, packing, cleaning and autoclave records ensuring that all information is accurate, legible and correct to guarantee traceability
  • Communicate production issues to Production Supervisor and/or Lead Operator as they arise
  • Contribute to the revision of manufacturing documentation including batch records and standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
  • Assist with investigations, projects and validation as required
  • Participate in EHS system by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting of hazards and incidents to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities (Root cause counter measure (RCCM) and "just do it" (JDIs)) as appropriate and suggest ideas
  • Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned to contribute to the efficient operation of the team and business
