Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend all written communications
- Valid employment authorization in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship required now or in the future)
- Ability to become forklift certified
Responsibilities
- Fill cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gases according to Airgas Fill Plant Standard Operating Procedures using methods such as: setting pressure gauges, adjusting valves to specified pressure, observing scale indicators for weight, or filling to full capacity and releasing excess gas to attain prescribed weight
- Roll cylinders onto platform or position cylinders in manifold racks manually or with material handling equipment
- Test gas for purity using testing equipment
- Inspect or test empty cylinders
- Examine cylinder exterior for surface defects such as dents, cracks, or burns, and determine whether to quarantine for further inspection
- Other duties may be assigned
