Requirements

  • Degree in Manufacturing, Science, Engineering or related field
  • Production or Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience in short-shelf-life products/large-scale production (desirable)
  • Experience with People management
  • Experience with Lean implementations, with direct experience in all areas of Lean
  • Strong analytic and data skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Fluent German and English (both verbal and written) to business-standard
  • Exemplary leadership skills, including strong listening skills, sensitivity in handling difficult employee issues, and the ability to engage and develop people

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the Production department
  • Ensure that safety is the number one priority for the organization
  • Maintain high product quality
  • Ensure the production plan is executed
  • Develop processes to increase efficiency of production
  • Develop the organization and enhance employee satisfaction
  • Lead manufacturing improvements, applying lean and other continuous improvement tools to increase customer satisfaction, reduce waste, drive productivity savings and support sales growth
