Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Quality team to ensure Assemblies meet QMS standards
  • Engage and develop relationships with other supporting manufacturing teams to ensure on-time delivery of A/C
  • Provide hands-on support for technicians when needed to enable them to stay on task and increase overall productivity
  • Report on the progress of production jobs and in-process quality control inspection tasks
  • Identify and raise concerns about process deviations and participate in troubleshooting efforts
  • Maintain accurate and clear manufacturing documentation in compliance with internal and external quality systems or regulations (including up-to-date assembly process documentation and process data like fastener torque, electrical checks)
  • Perform regular inspection, cleaning, and servicing on manufacturing equipment along with routine and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain maintenance logs for all machines, tools, and calibration dates
  • Provide regular productivity reports and incident reports as needed
  • Assist with tooling maintenance and repair procedures
  • Take a lead role in 5S, tool control, and FOD related activities
  • Work intricately with BETA’s ERP system to ensure part traceability, labor hour accuracy, and tooling accountability
  • Perform daily hands-on production assembly tasks
  • Refine manufacturing process layouts to continuously improve quality and throughput
  • Thread design changes from product development into existing build processes
