Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in industrial engineering, finance, manufacturing, operations, business (or equivalent experience), MBA is a plus
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in supply chain/operations/manufacturing, with focus in production/supply planning
  • Experience in planning ERP systems such as SAP/APO/S4 HANA, and in-depth understanding of MRP concepts
  • Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with Excel details to analyze and deploy data formulas, pivot tables (ability to write Excel macros is a plus)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational, and quantitative skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership/accountability
  • Proven track record to document, automate and improve processes and influence changes cross-functionally to drive results
  • Experience in a high-pressure production environment working with various constraints under a matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Drive CM commits in global CM sites that the rest of NVIDIA will rely on to make customer revenue commitments, including working with logistics teams to drive inventory movement of consignment and FG’s in and between factories and distribution centers
  • Create complete visibility on NV products’ production plan leveraging SAP PO management
  • Handle purchase order management within SAP ERP, ensuring stable production and supply commits
  • Proactively identify potential production risks (e.g., capacity, material, quality) and coordinate with supply/demand planning to determine tradeoffs while working with CM/factory operations to craft an optimized production recovery plan
  • Act as one of the critical contacts for sales/planning escalations to supply shortfall related to the CM factory, providing efficient responses and bridging any gaps between demand forecasts and production schedules commit from CM
  • Execute demand trade-offs, cancellations, prioritization, swaps and commits related to strategy changes, work with the factory operations to reduce material excess to minimize material liability
  • Monitor aging inventory and minimize obsolescence and waste, ensuring optimal stock turnover
  • Work together with corresponding functional teams on inventory quarantine, rework execution, shipment recovery
  • Drive planning system enhancements, report automation, and process improvements to support growing global business
  • Provide suggestions to NV management team and its manufacturing partners on how to pursue a higher performance level on Key Performance Indicators: supply commitment hit rate, OTD, supply stability, Pullin/Push out, tracking, production plan efficiency, etc
