Requirements

  • Ability to work 3rd shift (11:15pm-7:45am, Monday through Friday)
  • Follow all company Sanitation standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning equipment and facility
  • Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervisor approval
  • Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation
  • Maintain all sanitation related equipment including cleaning carts and tools, automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, foamers, cleaning equipment and tools
  • Keep cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand and organized
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and involvement in cleaning and sanitization processes for food processing equipment and food processing facilities
  • Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures
  • Completely clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and assigned areas of the plant to meet sanitation standards efficiently during short time periods between production shifts
  • Work with the maintenance team to align cleaning schedule with their equipment work
  • Follow master cleaning schedule/checklist and standard operating procedures to maintain food safety standards
