Requirements

  • Ability to work 3rd shift (11:15pm to 7:45am, Mon-Fri)
  • Follow company Sanitation standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning equipment and facility
  • Trained on standard operating procedures and master cleaning schedule/checklist
  • Work with maintenance team to align cleaning schedule with equipment work

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes
  • Completely clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and plant areas to meet sanitation standards efficiently during short periods between production shifts
  • Provide oversight and involvement in cleaning and sanitization processes for food processing equipment and facilities
  • Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces, and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures
  • Perform pre-inspection of clean equipment before requesting supervision
