High School Diploma required, equivalent experience preferred
Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English
Visual acuity 20/25 Near Vision with or without corrective vision required

Good interpersonal skills

Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
Frequent walking and standing
Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching up and out, wrist turning, pinching and manipulation

Required to maintain attendance in accordance with the RLD Attendance Policy

Responsibilities

Performs downstream activities including initiation of paperwork, verification of components per Bill of Materials, set-up/challenge/verification of label dispensers, verification of weighing/measuring devices for calibration status, set-up/verification of batch board and seal integrity stations
Assembles equipment including operation of blending, grinding, and some molding
Monitors product exposure times and documents process flow as required
Periodically performs all Operator I/Operator II functions
Pulls required processing samples, documents, packages and distributes
Performs set-up/tear down of room and keeps production area supplies up to date
Performs all line clearances
Replaces labels on dispensers, takes appropriate samples and verifies, troubleshoots label dispenser problems
Collects, documents, dispositions production scrap
Troubleshoots problems in the finishing area and decides how to correct or who to contact
Performs facility cleaning as required
Moves production cart into +5 degrees C and freezer areas in required times per product specification
Mandatory overtime as required based on business needs
Moves pasteurization carts and operates pasteurizer
