Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in BSEE or BSCE and have at least three years of experience in device validation or embedded systems testing. They should demonstrate a solid understanding of low-level C programming and hands-on experience with standard lab equipment such as scopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have high-level scripting/programming skills in languages like Python, Ruby, or Bash for creating test automation and programs for hardware and peripheral testing.
As a Product Validation Engineer II, you will be involved in designing and executing comprehensive test plans for our existing and next-generation platforms, contributing to the development of test automation, and meticulously identifying, documenting, and verifying bug fixes across low-level drivers, system components, OS customizations, and feature implementations. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and firmware, ultimately contributing to the overall reliability and quality of Flock’s device OS.
