Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (mandatory)
  • Fluent in English/Portuguese (native)
  • Knowledge of automotive industry
  • High level knowledge of product, market trends, quality, manufacturing, product development process
  • Experience in Product Engineering, Services, Manufacturing Engineering and/or Quality
  • Digital fluency (a plus)
  • Mobility to travel if required
  • Availability to work in São Caetano do Sul/SP

Responsibilities

  • Propose, develop and execute quality initiatives that will ensure customer satisfaction of GEM family
  • Execute the Global Program Quality Plan Process (GPQP), including program reviews, product and competitor’s assessment, quality audits and rides, among others
  • Work in synergy with key stakeholders, like Service, Quality Plant, ME, Product Engineering, etc
  • Plan, implement, and execute the quality fleet evaluation process (CTF)
  • Participate and support Launch Team activities to ensure program quality business plans, metrics, and program quality readiness deliverables are being addressed
  • Lead and provide quality input to design change process based on the review cadence, including customer requirements, lessons learned, Warranty, Voice of the Customer, and vehicle audits
  • Support Launch Excellence initiatives
  • Current Product Improvement Process (CPIP)
  • Track vehicle quality performance (Warranty, Compass, QFS, QAS, Consumer Report, Reliability & Durability, Buybacks, NPS, W&P etc)
  • Closely monitor vehicle source metrics (Warranty, Compass, Buybacks, etc) to identify emerging issues that can impact sales region
  • Work proactively to address at yard any identified emerging issues
  • Conduct technical Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Develop, drive, and track along actions to improve Warranty, Compass and Customer Experience
  • Look for process improvement opportunities and work to implement them
  • Support initiatives to improve Customer Experience
  • Voice of Quality to regional and global program execution teams (PET) and lead continuous improvement process of these products (CPIP)
  • Assess and ensure that all quality targets and program deliverables are being met and driving customer satisfaction. Escalate to leadership when assistance is needed
  • Support global launch processes as per the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP)
  • Digital Transformation & AI Integration: Champion initiatives that leverage AI, analytics, and digital tools to enhance plant efficiency, real-time quality monitoring, and data-driven decision-making
  • Support innovation projects as required to support Strategic initiatives
