Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Technology/Engineering/Math
Experience with data analysis, statistical techniques and/or data science (desired)
7 or more years’ experience required, with 3 or more years of tire manufacturing, tire design and/or tire performance science experience
Demonstrated proficiency in systematic problem-solving tools and techniques to address complex equipment and process problems
Demonstrated ability to teach and apply new tools and techniques to improve existing processes
Cross-functional project leadership/management experience, PMP preferred
Ability to teach, coach and mentor others

Responsibilities

Build capability within the global product performance team through development and deployment of new analytic tools, techniques, and processes
Develop and document standards and processes for product performance analysis
Serve as a technical mentor within the global product performance team
Participate in the RMM process to support the robust release of new products
Facilitate the claim review process to support improved customer satisfaction through identification of opportunities, robust problem solving, and monitoring of corrective actions for effectiveness
Provide product performance reports in support of regional quality and manufacturing plant quality business objectives
Collaborate globally and cross-functionally and employ project management tools that deliver solutions consistent with business targets
Be recognized as a leader in development of technical solutions and tools which deliver improved efficiency and capability of product performance analytics
Be a knowledge resource on available technology and work processes; lead team on use of appropriate level of technology for application and lead development of new technology; avoid inappropriate level of risk
Develop and advise others on evolving technologies globally
Be a knowledge resource or leader, recognized for innovations and creativity
