Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 5+ years of product management, program management, or supply chain experience
  • Proficient in analysis and planning
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership abilities
  • Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization
  • (Preferred) Prior experience in packaging sustainability, returnable assets, or logistics within the chemicals, life sciences, or manufacturing industries
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with EMEA regional regulatory compliance and supply chain operations
  • (Preferred) Proficiency in one or more European languages is an advantage
  • Operates with moderate supervision and high autonomy
  • Contributes to business-level initiatives and drives measurable results
  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in product or program domain

Responsibilities

  • Lead and cultivate the EMEA Returnable Drum Program strategy to align with regional business needs, operational capabilities, and global sustainability goals
  • Lead the EMEA Returnable Drum program by setting operational standards, amplifying customer voices, and encouraging collaboration among cross-functional peers
  • Ensure customer forecasts are tracked against contract obligations and communicate demand to support site supply and capacity planning
  • Direct cross-departmental teams in crafting, testing, and rolling out fresh Returnable Drum program configurations or technologies to enhance adoption, uniformity, and growth within essential market segments
  • Conduct driven benchmarking and stay current on balanced packaging trends, return logistics, and regulatory shifts in EMEA
  • Lead the EMEA Returnable Drum team in proactive oversight of customer contracts, asset management, and program demand adjustments
  • Work together with the General Manager of Custom & Bulk Services to assess new business proposals and projected investments needed for expansion
  • Empower the EMEA Returnable Drum team to thrive by providing mentorship and innovative solutions for overcoming implementation challenges
  • Collaborate closely with EMEA marketing and commercial teams to grasp customer difficulties and incorporate returnable packaging solutions into regional sales strategies
  • Liaise with supply chain and operations to ensure logistical feasibility and return infrastructure readiness
  • Partner with EH&S, regulatory, and legal functions to ensure product compliance with local and international transport, reuse, and safety regulations
  • Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs), executive presentations, and customer-facing collateral
  • Gather voice-of-customer (VOC) insights to drive solution composition and optimization
  • Monitor and share program benchmarks, such as return rates, usage trends, cost/benefit performance, and environmental impact
  • Use data findings to emphasize key hurdles that may affect the General Manager of Custom & Bulk Services and site leaders' performance or customer experience
