This role involves leading the development of the Developer Experience efforts within the Experience group, a key part of delivering solutions to technical stakeholders in SaaS businesses.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge or experience in areas such as developer tooling, APIs, developer documentation, SDKs, and technical onboarding.

  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional team (with engineers and a product designer).
  • Ability to contribute to a strategic vision and deliver on that vision.

Responsibilities

  • Help us with our strategic vision of becoming the growth platform for SaaS businesses.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver on this vision.
  • Paddle manages subscription billing and payments to take this burden from our customers. We handle millions of payments globally and provide functionality to manage subscription billing, while also reducing churn and optimising acquisition. We do all this while ensuring we’re applying and remitting taxes accurately in all jurisdictions.
  • Deliver an ambitious roadmap for the team.
  • Continuously develop the product and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the right thing is being built.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key milestones and deliverables.
  • Use internal and external analysis to feed into the strategic direction of the product roadmap.
