Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Software Engineer, Data Analyst, or equivalent role with demonstrated product ownership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated Interest and Experience in Data Organization, Data Structuring, Data Design, or Data Modeling with meaningful outcomes (e.g., improving feature performance, reducing data latency, increasing data fidelity)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Roadmap for Core Data Models: Prioritize and define requirements for data structure improvements, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with upcoming product needs
  • Bridge Data and Customer Value: Translate complex data capabilities into tangible, valuable product features, ensuring that the introduction of any new data point is meaningful and seamless for the customer
  • Implement Foundational Data Systems: Develop and organize the data dictionaries, schemas, and associated value governance that will be foundational for all products and internal analytics across Citylitics
  • Drive Data Standardization: Lead the effort to take fragmented, free-form data assets, and add structure and consistent treatment, evolving initial small-scale process operations into robust, production-grade pipelines
  • Ensure Scalability and Quality: Partner closely with Data Engineering and Product teams to ensure data feature builds are not only scalable from an engineering standpoint but also optimized for data quality and integrity
