Requirements

  • 3+ years of strong product / business / marketing experience. Marketplace experience is strongly preferred
  • Technical Product Management experience or comparable experience working directly with Engineering teams (both front-end and back-end); technical understanding of building products / communications from scratch
  • Experience in developing emails, push notifications, and in-app notifications related to Save communications such as Saved Search or Saved Seller
  • Strong owner sense - ability to understand consumer needs and find simple and creative ways to address them
  • Execution - ability to ship quality experiences in a fast paced and iterative manner
  • Metrics driven - ability to build actionable metrics which can measure experience performance
  • Builds positive relationships across various teams within eBay; an active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influencing

Responsibilities

  • Defining and communicating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Save communications portfolio
  • Developing deep knowledge of eBay and its products with domain expertise in the owned channels of emails, push notifications, and in-app notifications
  • Building the roadmap in close collaboration with leadership and other team members
  • Implementing the roadmap by working with engineering, data science and design teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence
  • Writing requirements and communicating them to the Engineering teams
  • Conducting AB tests: hypothesis building, test design, critical metric definition
  • Working with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metrics
  • Collaborating with creative team to improve content and design
  • Collecting and analyzing customer and user feedback to improve the product
  • Prioritizing features and work items based on business value, user needs, and other criteria
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to find opportunities and threats
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between the development team and partners
  • Tracking and reporting on your experience performance and key metrics
  • Continuously improving the roadmap and development processes
