Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in Product Management within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Finance, or related industries. Experience in direct private lending, syndicated loans, structured credit, and trading systems/platforms is a plus. A strong technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, is essential. The ability to analyze industry trends and competitor behavior to inform product strategies, and demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships, collaboration, and ongoing development are also required. A deep understanding of the Investment Management industry, processes, credit, credit investments, lifecycle, and the client/investor journey across investment management/financial services is ideal. Monthly travel to Chicago or Los Angeles will be necessary.
The Product Manager will oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond, conducting research to identify customer needs and competitive products. This role involves defining product strategy, outcomes, and objectives, and overseeing the design, manufacture, and implementation of products and solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is crucial for successful product development and launch, as well as managing existing products and ensuring production resiliency and support. Responsibilities include developing product business cases, positioning strategies, and setting roadmaps, translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, and driving product launches. The Product Manager will also act as a product evangelist and a driver of change within product, operations, and technology teams, and across investment areas.
