Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic/Visual Arts, HCI, or a related area, and 2-4 years of digital product design experience. Experience participating and providing feedback in internal design reviews is preferred, along with a portfolio demonstrating an understanding of information hierarchy, business objectives, usability practices, and aesthetics. Solid written and verbal communication skills, a solid understanding of user experience principles, and proficiency in Figma and other industry standard design tools are also required. Knowledge of web site structure and functionality, including HTML, Flash, CSS, and AJAX, is beneficial.

Responsibilities

As a Product Designer at AXS, the role involves discovering, designing, building, and iterating on products, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, designing and developing design components within design systems, conducting and analyzing user research, collaborating with product and executive teams to define product requirements, providing feedback to other designers, assessing and designing products in line with usability standards, advocating for user-centric designs, researching industry trends, ensuring UI designs are consistent with brand guidelines, gathering peer and stakeholder feedback, and making iterative improvements based on insights.
