Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent professional qualification or experience (Essential)
  • Demonstrable experience in project management, and/or application design & development with an IT/technical background (Essential)
  • Ability to gain sufficient technical understanding to lead effectively (implied essential)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of product outcomes aligned with the Product roadmap and strategy, including implementation of changes to external Customer platforms and internal systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams in specific projects and programmes by resolving issues, managing risks, decisions, and escalations
  • Prepare stakeholder updates primarily to the steering team and more widely to those impacted by the project
  • Lead project and programme management from project sign-off through to development and delivery as assigned by the Senior Project Manager
  • Provide leadership by gaining sufficient technical understanding, empowering individuals, encouraging collaboration, and demonstrating ownership in communication to senior stakeholders
  • Guide project/programme teams towards the NIQ Change Lifecycle, champion ongoing process improvement, and adapt its principles pragmatically to project needs
  • Lead the management of the project RAID by proactively raising and resolving risks, issues, decisions, and blockers
  • Define project/programme schedule, focus on regular and timely delivery of value, correct deviations from plans, and perform delivery planning
  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Product teams to ensure the roadmap is understood and meets business goals
  • Define the project RACI and lead the team in its application through effective allocation of tasks and decision-making
  • Define the project communication strategy, ensuring stakeholders are consulted and informed appropriately
  • Organise and lead project and programme working meetings to meet objectives efficiently using the right roles per RACI
  • Prepare and distribute status update reports where applicable
  • Accurately manage project spend by leading effort estimation, tracking spend, and ensuring approval by the appropriate budget holder
  • Liaise with third parties throughout the project lifecycle for RACI application, RAID management, spend tracking, and delivery
