Requirements

Candidates should possess a quantitative degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering, with an advanced degree or equivalent experience being a plus, and 4-12 years of experience in analytics, particularly in Product-Led Growth (PLG) and in-product analytics. Proficiency in building metric frameworks to understand user behaviors and experience with products like Rudderstack, Segment, Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, and Intercom is required, along with sophisticated SQL skills for building data pipelines and query optimization, and a high level of comfort delivering reporting and insights within a data visualization platform, such as Looker.

Responsibilities

The Product Data Analyst will build the analytics foundation to understand, monitor, and improve YugabyteDB user journey, collaborating closely with product, engineering, marketing, and design teams to translate in-product data insights into feature improvements and identifying opportunities for in-context user engagement and support. They will define key metrics for measuring product-led sales success, build dashboards and ongoing reports to surface insights and drive decision-making, deepen understanding of user behaviors through analytics and experimentation to uncover strategic business opportunities, lead experimentation, execute it, and assess its impact on key metrics, guide the team in standardizing analytical processes and evangelize these methods, and influence roadmap development and strategic decision-making processes, fostering a data-driven, test-and-learn culture with a passion for storytelling with data.
