Requirements

  • Significant experience executing strategic sourcing process for a large, complex, global corporation
  • Deep experience with, and strong understanding of, all facets of the eSourcing value, process, and tools
  • A proven track record of delivering distinctive eSourcing results across all types of capital, direct, and indirect spend categories
  • The strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills to act as an effective change agent, unlocking barriers to eSourcing institutionalization and impact across the portfolio globally
  • Skilled at data analysis (Strong Excel and database skills a significant plus)
  • Expert understanding of, and significant experience with, multi-step strategic sourcing processes and category management strategies
  • Strong project management skills, including stakeholder, timeline, and meeting management talent
  • Results-oriented with strong commercial judgment
  • Excellent professional relationship building and management skills
  • Program management talent to institutionalize the program

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for every possible need on eSourcing including: pipeline development, issue resolution, event strategy and execution, reporting, supplier engagement, etc
  • Support a select group of portfolio companies in a deeper more hands-on approach to demonstrate leadership capability
  • Drive significant growth of eSourcing impact across the global portfolio
  • Help drive eSourcing capability, adoption, and deeper integration within and across existing portfolio companies
  • Establish eSourcing as a standard best practice with new Blackstone portfolio company investments
