Requirements

  • Working knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities (gathers data for analysis, illustrates problems/opportunities, suggests ways to reduce variation/waste, helps evaluate change factors, participates in requirements analysis)
  • Working understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors (delivers helpful feedback, listens without defensiveness, makes oral presentations/writes reports, avoids jargon, considers non-verbal cues)
  • Knowledge of successful negotiating

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects associated with lean processes, global market understanding, tools, and systems
  • Design and develop solutions, collaborate with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC, business requirements, and prepare implementation plans for successful deployment
  • Contribute to global strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices, offerings, services and associated tools & training
  • Serve as the lead technical representative for a respective discipline and work directly with a wide range of procurement/enterprise representatives, including presenting recommendations to senior leaders
  • Lead sourcing selections and support the New Product Introduction process by acting as a liaison between buyers and the team, ensuring alignment during early phases and throughout the introduction cycle
  • Collaborate with product groups and design teams to identify requirements, conduct pre-reviews, manage pre-selection requests, evaluate options, and drive decisions
  • Assist suppliers in a buyer capacity, supporting contract negotiations and ensuring compliance with sourcing strategies
