Responsibilities

  • Ensure products and service materials are distributed on time and in proper condition
  • Adhere to routes and pathways for timely and orderly delivery, maintaining material integrity
  • Integrate into procurement procedures and department activities
  • Interact with suppliers, review purchase documents, and process orders
  • Support purchasing agents and leadership as a collaborative teammate with mailroom specialists
  • Sort, pack, and deliver mail, items, documents, etc
  • Resolve issues with incorrect/returned mail and packages, coordinating remediation and improvements with purchasing agents
  • Prepare and issue purchase order agreements
  • Monitor supplier indicators and patterns
  • Review and evaluate quality of purchased items, resolve shortcomings
  • Replenish stock items and move products between workstations and spaces
  • Enter data accurately into ERP and mail systems
  • Generate reports related to inventory movement
  • Fill in for purchasing agents at all three hospital locations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Purchasing
