Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing, forecasting and inventory planning
  • Proficient in MRP/ERP systems
  • Understands how planning decisions impact the broader supply chain
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Uses forecast data to order, optimize inventory and reduce waste; Comfortable with ERP systems, Excel and data visualization tools
  • Detail-Oriented Mindset – able to catch discrepancies before they become issues
  • Excellent Communication: Coordinates effectively with procurement, commercial, production, suppliers and logistics; Communicates delays or changes proactively and clearly
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipates supply chain disruptions and develops contingency plans; Quickly adapts to changes in demand or supplier performance
  • Time Management & Prioritization: Prioritizes tasks based on production schedules and business impact
  • Resilience Under Pressure: Stays calm and focused during disruptions or urgent changes

  • Experience in Raw Material Planning, Supplier relationship management, and inventory control (ideal candidate)

Responsibilities

  • Manage Planning and Orders of film that is under project status including customer product launches and art transitions, including inventory and demand reviews and check-ins with Commercial for project timing
  • Issue Build order releases
  • Work with plant Supply Chain on film expedite needs and contact supplier and solve for the need; Proactively and quickly communicate information back to the business
  • Process project invoices through capital program
  • Monthly review of Aged Film Inventory and works in conjunction with the Obsolescence team to solve for best outcome
  • Assists Category Supervisor with Quality issues as needed from supplier
  • Reviews vendor managed inventory orders for excess builds
  • Management of a key supplier within the procurement organization
  • Works cross-functionally between Supply Chain, Commercialization, and Operations
