Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Zero (0) to three (3) years related experience
Basic knowledge of business and financial principles
Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with MS Office
Responsibilities
Updates, processes, and approves procurement records in a timely manner as directed
Provides administrative and data collection support for RFPs, pricing analysis, contract workspaces, new vendor setup, PO & Contract revisions, data analytics, etc
Provides transactional support to more senior agents for strategic and category driven procurements
Assists with and manages PO and Contract Workspace life cycles
Assists in production and data analysis to support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) scorecards
Demonstrates working knowledge of corporate goals and assists senior agents with generating/recording cost savings, improving/reporting Tier II spend, and identifying sustainability opportunities
Supports the sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for small value contracts/commodities under direction of Sourcing Agents and Senior Sourcing Agents
Develops sources of supply, establishes procurement schedules, and assists in supplier pre-qualification activities
Identifies, outlines, and gains engagement from other groups; provides proposed solutions for approval
Supports and executes implementation of low complexity solutions and identifies opportunities for process improvements
