Requirements

  • BCom or minimum bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience (minimum 2.5-3 years preferred) in Accounts Payable (AP) in Finance & Accounting function
  • Good knowledge of Accounts Payable lifecycle, AP invoice processing, and Helpdesk processes (PO, Non-PO, Utility invoices, freight payments)
  • Experience in Accounts Payable invoice processing/AP Helpdesk activities for international clients in a BPO organization (preferred)
  • Experience working in SAP ERP (preferred and added advantage)
  • Sound knowledge of MS Excel & Word; advanced Excel knowledge and Microsoft Excel VBA Programming (added advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, for interactions with clients, suppliers, internal stakeholders via calls and emails
  • Ability to interact with customers and client SMEs for daily operational activities
  • Client Management and Reporting Analytics skills
  • Ability to work in any sub-processes

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely completion of work allocations related to Invoice Processing (IP) & Helpdesk
  • Manage daily operations-related communications and interactions with internal & client stakeholders via emails and calls
  • Actively participate in client calls and provide required resolutions/inputs to leads
  • Achieve 100% accuracy & productivity for activities in scope
  • Perform quality checks for invoices/AP Helpdesk queries responded and share results with SME
  • Analyze customer queries and work with query desk to close invoice queries
  • Analyze AP Helpdesk queries/complaints and provide resolutions to drive towards closure
  • Interact with client SMEs and Leads for daily work and process-related issues
  • Work on hold invoices resolutions received and raise appropriate queries if required
  • Participate in weekly/daily calls with Client SMEs and ensure timely action on pending action items
  • Generate lean ideas and provide inputs to process leads for improvement opportunities
  • Deliver improved process controls, productivity, and accuracy through lean ideas and process improvements
  • Solve routine problems through precedent and referral to general guidelines
  • Interact within own team and with direct supervisor, following detailed to moderate level of instruction
