Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance, Product Packaging, or Production-type setting
  • Experience interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and work orders
  • Familiarity with testing/measuring devices and hand tools
  • Understanding of electromechanical principles and functions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Maximo/Work order Tracking Software, Trackwise (preferred)
  • Able to multitask and respond to shifting priorities
  • Good social skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical writing skills and ability to define process flow
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Tolerance for loud noises (equipment/machinery)
  • Ability to wear some degree of PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate alignment to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
  • Drive a philosophy of Practical Process Improvement (PPI)/5S Principles/Root Cause Analysis
  • Develop/revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Knowledge Assessments
  • Author investigations, customer complaints, change controls, and CAPAs
  • Perform setup, disassembly, and operation of pharmaceutical packaging machinery
  • Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
  • Provide training on equipment setup, function, and processes
  • Align with Process Engineering to integrate equipment and procedures
  • Collaborate with vendors/contractors to facilitate upgrades and repairs
  • Work with on-site clients to achieve common goals
  • Practice and maintain an organized and safe working environment
  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
