Requirements

Sufficient mechanical skills to troubleshoot and fix machine issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Reliable, with good initiative, committed, and quality focused
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
Ability to perform repetitious duties, including standing for long periods of time
Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
Excellent attendance

Responsibilities

Monitors operations process, work, and material flow to ensure quality and customer specifications are met
Reports accurate production numbers
Performs preventative maintenance activities, including running tests and trial runs as needed
Performs tool changes and repairs as needed, following all HECP LOTO procedures
Performs and/or assigns all quality checks, burst testing, salinity, and weights
Communicates with maintenance and vendors on supplies needed and work orders
Organizes all tooling and maintains in labeled storage locations
Meets production goals set by Shift Supervisor/Production Manager/Plant
Directs Inspectors/Packers to efficient use of labor and to minimize costs
