Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field (biology, chemistry, engineering)
  • Basic to intermediate data analysis and statistics experience
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, PSP, DMAIC, or similar problem-solving methodologies
  • Benchtop laboratory or lab automation experience
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills; curiosity and willingness to learn, adapt, and improve

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, trend, and analyze process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing monitoring systems
  • Assist in defining processes, including Process Capability, Methods, and Standard Work
  • Provide engineering analysis and documentation to support process deployment, transfer, and ramp into manufacturing
  • Conduct manufacturing and project reviews through preparation of Process Maps, FMEA, and Risk-Mitigation Plans
  • Support in solving technical issues and delays in production by driving to root cause through design of experiments and leading cross-functional teams
