Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)

Responsibilities

  • Understand the interaction of the equipment and scientific principles required for manufacturing and cryogenic storage of working and master cell banks
  • Work with internal and external Engineering vendors and Maintenance staff to ensure reliable cGMP manufacturing
  • Provide technical support for non-routine (e.g., deviation) investigations
  • Prepare relevant technical documents, such as: Equipment Qualifications, Change Controls, Deviations, Protocols, Summary Reports, and Procedures with Good Documentation Practices
  • Participate in development and implementation of process improvements, including capital expansions/projects and technical projects
  • Work within cross-functional teams in a positive fashion to implement process team objectives and deliver on business plan and quality objectives
  • Provide system oversight for various process control and accessories as primary or backup system custodian as needed
