Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Process Technology, Chemical Technology, or Food Technology
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a comparable industry (food or pharmaceutical industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of aseptic processes (a big plus)
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Experience with project management and problem-solving methodologies
  • Ability to independently perform data analysis and share insights with the organization
  • Flexible, accurate, stress-resistant, with a critical eye for safety and quality

Responsibilities

  • Analyze production data to identify causes and implement continuous improvements
  • Act as a central point of contact: collaborate with various disciplines to solve complex production challenges
  • Conduct research on process variables to further optimize product and process quality
  • Support technical implementations of new products together with R&D, including plant trials and commercial runs
  • Improve Process Monitoring & Control to proactively prevent future problems
  • Initiate and execute actions to improve safety, quality, and efficiency of installations
  • Contribute to detailed process design and parameter definition within investment projects
  • Keep knowledge up-to-date through targeted training and trade shows
