Process Controls Engineer

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) license, and between 10 and 15 years of related experience. They should have experience working with large-scale piping, valve, pumping systems, and treatment technologies, along with proficiency in process modeling tools such as Excel, Biowin, and GPS-X. Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills are also required.
The Process Engineer will provide technical planning and design support for water and wastewater treatment projects, including combined sewer overflow, collection systems, pump stations, and stormwater management. They will prepare engineering calculations, process models, and technical memoranda, as well as design reports and construction plans. Responsibilities also include preparing specifications and permit submittals, assisting with scope, budget, and schedule management, monitoring project progress, documenting design changes, conducting on-site inspections, and preparing project status reports. Furthermore, the role involves assisting in proposal preparation, attending meetings, maintaining client relations, ensuring a safe working environment, and participating in professional organizations such as the Florida Water Environment Association.
