Requirements

Candidates should be a solicitor / lawyer qualified in England and Wales or other jurisdictions, possessing a minimum of four years of relevant post qualification experience (law firm, in-house or combination thereof). They should be a creative problem solver with a can-do attitude, a strong negotiator with experience in client-facing roles, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, adapting quickly to changing circumstances and making informed decisions with limited information.

Responsibilities

This role will provide legal support on matters related to distribution channels and fundraising for Blackstone’s European retail funds, leading the negotiation of distribution and feeder agreements with banks and wealth management firms, working with the in-house Legal & Compliance team and external counsel to monitor and implement legal and regulatory developments, and providing regulatory and legal advice to investment professionals and business personnel.
